Indurate Alloys and Plasma Rransferred Arc (PTA)

Having previously worked in Thermal Spray sales and as an applicator or Plasma Transferred Arc
powders and other hard facing materials, Indurate Alloys Ltd. began its operation in 2011 with a plan to
fill a need for a local supply of Plasma Transferred Arc (PTA) powders. After a few unsuccessful attempts
to work with outside manufacturers in these materials, we decided to build our own line of Plasma
Transferred Arc powders and through this need our Indurate Alloys Ltd. Plasma Transferred Arc powder
line was born.

Now 10 years later our company could be termed a “boutique” supplier of PTA powders. We source
various Tungsten Carbide material types from China, along with a complete range of metal matrix alloy
materials from the USA and Europe. This approach allowed Indurate Alloys to build a line of “IA”
branded PTA powders to fit all of our clients needs. Essentially, if you can design it, we can build it. Or, if
you have an application and you are not sure how to approach the wear mechanism/s, we can work
with you to design PTA powders that will work best for your individual application wear dynamic.
